Phase 2 Now Accepting Applications!

The BDC’s Artist & Mural Selection Committee is now accepting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from artists interested in joining our efforts to beautify Downtown Burlington with public art.

Currently, artists may submit an RFP for Phase 2 of this project (two murals). The second and third in this series of three murals will be located:

1) the side of the Walkerdance Ballet building (263 E. Front St.), facing Spring Street adjacent to the Walkerdance parking lot

2) the side of the McCauley Family Learning Center building (441 S. Spring St.) adjacent to the grass lot, facing Impact Alamance. Applications are due no later than Monday, January 18th by 11:59pm and the selected artists will be notified by Friday, February 5th. See the complete Request for Proposals (RFP) below
