The 53rd annual Alamance region antique auto show, hosted by the Alamance Region AACA Car Club.
4th Fridays in Downtown Burlington presents an opportunity to gather with family, friends, and neighbors to eat, drink, and listen to music with the Historic Depot as the backdrop. There will be a variety of delicious food trucks and local beer/wine vendors on-site every month! The event is family-oriented, with many activities for kids to enjoy, but fosters a fun environment for all ages.
Put on by the City of Burlington’s Recreation Department, join the holiday fun with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Have a last-minute Christmas wish? Stop by for a visit and make it known! Dive into exciting activities with Interactive Playgrounds, featuring a climbing wall, snow axe throwing inflatable, and a lively snowball fight. All aboard for mini-train rides weaving through Downtown streets, just $2 per rider (cash and cards accepted). Cross some names off your shopping list at our Artisan Market, showcasing a variety of hand-crafted goodies from local artisans. Don’t forget to check out booths from community organizations like United Way, Burlington PD & Fire, and more!

This event highlights the impact of shopping local, helping to keep our downtown thriving and connected.
Put on by the City of Burlington’s Recreation Department, the 77th year, our annual Christmas Parade will light up the streets with dazzling floats, cheerful carolers, and lots of our fellow community members. Grab your favorite viewing spot, bring your holiday spirit, and join us as we celebrate the season with a magical parade that just keeps getting better every year! The Carolina Ensemble Theatre is reimagining Dickens’ classic and will feature the unique David Bishop score beloved by generations of Triad audiences and ensemble-based storytelling that celebrates the meaning of community. Join us for this immortal story as we journey with Ebenezer Scrooge through Christmases Past, Present, and Future!
This one day event will host artisans, collectors, and flat out creative folks from all over NC! Shop vintage, antique, unique, and locally crafted goods, listen to live music, and grab a treat or bite to eat downtown, all while strolling the brick patio surrounding Burlington's gorgeous Historic Depot. The Burlington Recreation and Parks Department invites you to join us at the 76th Annual Burlington Christmas Parade scheduled for Saturday, November 18th at 10am. Line the streets of Downtown Burlington and Main Street down to Kitchin Street to enjoy live dance performances, school bands, community organizations, antique cars, horses, local businesses, city departments and of course, Santa!

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® is the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.
While there is no fee to register for Walk, all participants are encouraged to raise critical funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support and advance research toward methods of prevention, treatment and, ultimately, a cure.

Don’t forget to take advantage of our new Downtown Social District! On Fridays and Saturdays, from 12 pm - 10 pm, you may purchase an alcoholic beverage from any of our 7 downtown bars/restaurants and carry it throughout the social district, including the Depot and Amphitheater for this event!
This “Phoenix” version of our 4th Fridays series celebrates Elon University! Burlington Recreation & Parks, Elon University, and the Burlington Downtown Corporation are hosting an evening of live music, food trucks, and activities for all ages!
There will be inflatables for the kids, a mechanical bull, Elon Entrepreneurs around the depot, non-profits lining the streets with activities!
